1979 Fiat Spider    Completely Restored by Andy

Body: 2 door convertible, underwent a body off restoration in 1994, completely striped southern rust free car, professionally re-painted black with red hood and trunk and matching original Abarth wheel flares, they are true and round not a knock off from the original. Absolutely no rust anywhere and garage kept since restoration. Front bumpers removed and replaced with original European bumpers made from rubber and not plastic as many knock offs are, this conversion saves 100lbs. off the car.

Suspension & Brakes: All urethane bushings, front 1in. anti-roll bar and rear sway bar, Koni yellow adjustable shocks and slightly lowered.
This car has 4 wheel discs that were changed for this year, new discs and pads, callipers were replaced recently and master cylinder was changed last year, fluids also drained every year.

Engine and Transmission: Rebuilt from the bottom up in 2008 with high compression pistions, port and polished head, with a radical cam. Has original part fiat racing intake manifold with twin 40mm IDF downdraft Weber carburetors also reconditioned in 2010 with K&N filters. Radiator was replaced at the same time the engine was rebuilt. Has a 5 speed transmission and was reconditioned 2 years ago and shifts beautifully. Has a rear end from an automatic car, this is a very rare upgrade as the automatics were very hard to find, acts as a 6th gear on the highway with its lower gear ratios. All fluids drained and refilled every season, including engine, transmission, rear differential and coolant.

Wheels and tires: Very rare and hard to find original Cromodora CD 13 magnesium wheels, used for racing because they are so light, professionally refinished for this year with new 205/60R13 tires. These wheels are absolutely mint, and add to the uniqueness of this car, very hard to find, trust me.

Interior: Very clean, has new racing seats that are fantastic for long drives, carpets very clean, no tears and dash is very clean, no cracks. Canvas top is new and rarely used as this car does not see rain, therefore it hardly got used. Has a Momo steering wheel and Sony CD/mp3 player with Sony speakers up front.
